Episode 116: Do You Want To Be Healed?
A lot of men say they want change.Peace. Freedom. Discipline. Healing.
But what if part of us is still clinging to the very thing keeping us broken?
This week we dive deep into the story of the crippled man at the Pool of Bethesda in The Gospel of John 5, where Jesus asks a question that still cuts straight through the heart of men today:
"Do you want to be healed?"
We unpack why so many men stay stuck in cycles of anger, isolation, addiction, shame, distraction, and spiritual numbness — even when they know they need change. We talk about the fear of surrender, the death of the old self, and why true healing in Christ requires more than just wanting life to get easier.
This is a raw conversation about what it means to stop lying beside the pool and finally get up and walk.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of the old man for too long, this episode is for you.

Episode 114: Late Season Longbeards & Last Chance Gobblers
Wednesday May 20, 2026
Wednesday May 20, 2026
Late season turkey hunting is where things start getting real. The woods get quieter, birds stop following the script, and every hunt starts feeling more like a chess match. In this episode, we talk through how our mindset and tactics change once the season starts winding down and why this stretch of the season might actually be some of our favorite days to hunt all spring.
We dive into midday run and gun setups, pressured gobblers, aggressive calling, roosting changes, decoy strategies, covering ground, and what it takes to finally get a stubborn late season tom to commit. If you’re still holding a tag and trying to make one last bird happen before season closes, this episode should fire you up to get back in the woods.

Wednesday May 06, 2026
Wednesday May 06, 2026
Early season can be some of the toughest turkey hunting of the year.
The birds are still grouped up, gobblers are locked down with hens, and if you’re hunting before hens start nesting, it can feel like every tom in the woods is answering… but none of them are coming.
In this Turkey Talk segment, we’re talking through why those first couple weeks can be such a grind and what to do when birds are still bunched up and henned up.
We get into calling strategies, working hens instead of gobblers, setup adjustments, and how to stay patient when it feels like nothing’s working.
Just real turkey hunting talk—breaking down what makes early season birds so tough and how to stack the odds back in your favor.

Episode 111: Turkey Camp at the Farm. (Chasing Birds in SE Minnesota)
Wednesday Apr 29, 2026
Wednesday Apr 29, 2026
We kicked off turkey season the right way down in SE Minnesota at the farm. Miles walked, boots worn out, and plenty of birds to keep us humble. Toms grouped up, birds playing games, and one of those weekends where you earn every opportunity. Long days, short nights, and even with Evan battling being sick, it was an absolute blast.
This year at camp we had the whole crew. Luke, Evan, Erik, and Sam all in camp together. Camp was unreal. Good people, plenty of laughs, and time in the woods doing what we love.
Big shoutout to Sam Melton on his first out of state bird and his first Minnesota bird. Could not have drawn it up any better and it made the whole weekend that much better.
A lot of close calls, some funny moments, and a whole lot of boot leather burned. Exactly how you want to start a season.

Evan Bungum
Growing up in SE Minnesota, my love for hunting and fishing was nurtured by my dad. From turkeys to whitetails, those early days shaped my passion for the outdoors. As years passed, my focus shifted from hunting to storytelling and capturing my adventures. Through outdoor media, I embarked on unforgettable journeys, driven by a desire to inspire others to appreciate God's creation.
Fred Bear's wisdom resonates deeply within me, guiding my steps as I traverse the wilderness with reverence for its inhabitants. My mission now is clear: to share the beauty of nature and the light of faith with the world. With each story I share, I hope to ignite a spark in others, encouraging them to find joy in both the wonders of creation and the embrace of faith.
Supported by a loving wife and a community of kindred spirits, I feel blessed to live a life so deeply intertwined with the great outdoors. Each day brings new adventures, new stories to tell, and I eagerly await the next chapter in this journey of faith and exploration.

Luke Timmons
Hailing from southeastern Minnesota, my roots run deep, grounded in the rich soil of a small-town upbringing. Sundays were spent in the pews of our local church, surrounded by the warmth of family and the embrace of faith, before venturing into the woods in pursuit of whitetail deer. Over time, my love for the outdoors expanded to encompass a diverse array of hunting and fishing pursuits. Yet, amidst the ebb and flow of life's adventures, it is my Christian faith that serves as my compass, shaping me into a dedicated father, a devoted husband, a respectful son, and a loyal friend. It's the principles instilled by my faith that guide my actions and relationships, illuminating the path towards growth, love, and service to others. Through this podcast, it is my goal to spread the word of God and ignite a fervent passion for fellow believers to embrace their Christian faith through the beauty and serenity of the outdoors.
